DSA is proud to announce that DSA CEO Mr Nikolaos Myriounis has been selected by the NATO DIANA Selection Board as a Defence and Security Expert and potential mentor and joined the DIANA Mentoring Network.
On Thursday March 6th, the 1 coordination meeting of the Mentoring Network has been conducted for specific guidance to DIANA mentors.
DIANA is the only accelerator programme that serves as a blueprint for emerging and disruptive technology innovators to navigate the defence and security sector across NATO nations, while actively supporting the civilian commercial success of programme participants.
DIANA leverages a unique transatlantic innovation ecosystem, bringing together the best and brightest from academia, industry, governments and investors to help founders build their companies, products and find adoption pathways.
By providing a NATO-backed, dual-use curriculum, access to trusted venture capital, and exposure to Allied national initiatives, DIANA’s goal is to help start-ups to grow and establish themselves as resilient, successful participants in the commercial and defence markets.

DIANA launched a ‘Call for Mentors and Experts’ in late November 2023.
DIANA sought mentors and experts who are highly skilled professionals, willing to voluntarily contribute their time and expertise to support the delivery of DIANA’s pilot accelerator programme or support the evaluation of candidates from future DIANA challenges.
DIANA wants to create a pool of mentors and experts from the best talent across the allied dual-use ecosystem. The pool will be used to support the delivery of the pilot accelerator programme and will grow over time.
DIANA mentors and experts will support technology development, legal, finance and business matters.
Call domains were as follows: Government and Defence & Security Experts, Business Development Experts, Academia and R&D Professionals, Industry Experts, Investors and Startup Founders.

Mentors and experts were selected based on previous expertise, curriculum delivery and specific needs of individual startups. Mentors will be provided with support and be included in the DIANA global mentor community.
Please note that participation in any mentorship programme does not constitute employment or affiliation with DIANA, and will likely be on a non-reimbursable basis.
